As someone once said “all talk no action” Both the brides…I-40 and I-55 should be rebuilt. That I-55 bridge is a horrible road as far back as I can remember and now because of this all traffic is going across that! It’ll be a matter of time before that one breaks.

We’ve got the Jimmie Davis Bridge in Shreveport/Bossier City that was supposed to be torn down and replace with a new one 3 years ago but because of a birds nest and the environmental agency interfering the contractors sued the state and the bridge is in serious need of construction before catastrophe hits

25. My city is on the news. They had that bridge shut down in no time. Now the traffic is horrific.

33. I have lived in Memphis my whole life. The amount of money the city/state itself cuts for stupid things is a result of this I feel like. Honestly the crack has probably been there for awhile before it was noticed. It’s a shame that Memphis is getting another shine for something bad. Come on y’all let’s do better….

37. We could have done this when Obama was president and the economy was bad but Treasury Secretary Robert Reich said that an infrastructure bill would only benefit "white construction workers".

38. To be honest all of this is BS the taxes that Tennessee residents pay that bridge shouldn't have broken crack on none of that. It's all a money grab to get some of the stimulus to fix the bridge rather than take some of that tax money that they're texting their Tennessee residents. I guess they're going to pocket that or lie like it's going into Child Care development😏😅.

40. Sleepy Joe's infrastructure bill shows hundreds of millions for public housing and other expenditures not related to infrastructure. My thought on infrastructure would be roads, bridges, communication, dams, electric grid. Things that benefit ALL taxpayers. The bill as laid out now is just another pork bill on steroids. Keep in mind that this structural failure should have been found years ago. Don't try to say that if Sleepy's bill would pass, this would never have happened.
