This is a fkn joke hazard pay when cause my company gave me a temporary 3$ per and it’s still less then what people staying at home is making $1000 per week when there pay is $600-640 per week they getting paid almost 25$hr when they work it’s only 15-16$ smh how I worked hard to get a good pay I get $20 hr but those who are not on my level and hourly pay is less then 20$ are now at home getting more money how the fk , doesn’t the government or mayor or president knows math ? This is a abuse oh you don’t see it cause I haven’t taken one day off this year and theres people that been home 1-2 months with more pay per week then they would make at their job not only was I at risk but the government decided to early release inmates who 50% or more dnt give a fk about social distances or face mask to my job so I can be at a higher risk , I saw they were suppose to pay $30-75 per shift extra my boss didn’t even make the lowest available you do the math 3$x40 it’s not 30$ per shift when I work 5 shift plus it’s still less then those sleeping at home I’m very upset and wish I had robbed the government for those 1000$ per week I should of stood home if the pay is higher don’t you think

First & for most Those in the medical Field, law enforcement/ military those real front line workers should be rewarded for choosing to wake up and continue fighting for our families. It’s not talked about or appreciated enough. They do not have to go inti work risking they’re lives from an enemy invisible to everyone. Instead they choose too wake up drive into work regardless of risk for the better of another human being that is a complete stranger.

Hazard pay would be great, I personally feel this Boost incentive should of been implemented for essential employees a long time ago. The same time unemployment got a boost from the feds of $600.00. Employees getting paid state and federal unemployment on average $500-$1000 a week. I’m over here working 60hrs a week, at a very high risk with close proximity with customers. I don’t make a $1000 weekly, I’m barely able to see my children as a precaution to putting them in risk of COVID 19 . From 8 days a month via court ordered, now only 2 days a month spent with my son & daughter. A time where most are spending time with loved ones. It’s discouraging & I’m mentally & physically exhausted as are many. Being treated differently not only by the attorney generals office is normal, during the pandemic being treated like a human being is now more important than ever. Not all but some paid unemployed workers make more than I do monthly. Most got paid more than they i get paid working. While they sit at home doing nothing or purchasing non necessary items with they’re first stimulus checks. It really grinds my gears!! I work for a wireless pre paid service como viewable as essential employees in keeping families connected during this pandemic. Some customers don’t have debit or credit cards for payments some have technical issues. Some even need assistance paying they’re bills.
But my personal situation with stimulus paycheck is similar to others, I got my $1200 but owed $762.00 to child support.. I fell behind one month due to choosing to wait for my COVID 19 Test results. Only took 4 days, but then I felt and still feel I was punished because. I wasn’t put back on the work schedule for an additional two weeks without pay..
I was Told by my employer it was just a safety precaution.
Im blessed & thankful to have had employment and continued work to for income. But the risk daily feel money out weigh care for my health.
I fear the federal government will not see a representative for a wireless carrier as essential. I would kindly ask that they co pilot with me for my normal day. Then ask them one more if they viewed my employment essential.
Eventually i got $438.00 dollars that was left over . It helped plenty for the two weeks I missed. Im scrambling to do find means for funds. I do Uber East after my 10hr shift, I ask co workers, friends if they need they’re yard cut or car washed to make money. Even offering to do it in half the price of what they would Normally pay.
I’m barely surviving, medical bills adding up for my mother in stage 4 Brest cancer. I had chosen to take on more responsibility and have done so since December. Really sucks that because I missed one months payment to child support putting me over $500 .Allowing treasury to offset for child support. So if I was $499.00 behind I could have gotten the total $1200. Just ridiculous!My ex wife of two years now got not only child support payment but got her stimulus check that claimed our 2 children. She is a elementary school teacher, essential for our nations future in my opinion. Fortunately she is contracted with salary pay, her school district did not lower paid salary follar amount. Which is awesome, for the month of April she received a total of $9000.00 with my stimulus pay her stimulus pay credit from our children and her salary pay. It feels the attorney generals office can careless about non custodial parent surviving. Instead of seeing the stimulus as what it should be ECONOMIC RELIEF.. with over $10 million dollars of unpaid child support debts, it’s difficult to ask for limitations or standards or certain penalty’s to be implemented on those who choose to pay or not pay. Clearly on a case by case basis. Feeling punished for dead bear fathers who have little to no payments made for they’re children owing thousands, leads me to non custodial parent being treat differently because of some bad apples. Looking into financial expenses for children should be monitored case by case. I get it, It doesn’t take a genius to obviously see there is no child care facility open. Also no need for it while the mother of our children. Received full paid salary while not working until further notice of schools re opening. I’m not smart but anyone can see lack of funds is not a concern. But for non custodial parents who work at a lower wage some still working some other laid off. Regardless of being a father or mother first and foremost most importantly. Non custodial parents are viewed as what seem to me as just a paycheck regardless of the non custodial parent finances. Being treated differently has become the new normal. Survival for the non custodial parent has become non essential, while a payment for child care that will always remain essential as it should. But penalizing non custodial parents who are over $500 is barbaric. Attorney generals office should view payment history, such as how long has been since a payment was not been received. How long have they been on child support & how far behind month/funds/history. I feel $500 is way to low. Maybe if they’re over $2000.00 behind, maybe take half of the stimulus. I personally was fortunate that I didn’t owe two months or I wouldn’t have gotten a single penny. Attorney generals office only views the dollar amount for paid interest accumulated paid to them rather than giving the complete payments for the children, instead they’ll penalized you charging interest for taking care of responsibility/obligations.
I am still praying for every one, anyone around the world going through hardships currently. To the families in real need of assistance. To the families who’ve lost loved ones due to COVID 19. We are all in this together & only together we will get back to life as we knew it.

I've been a essential worker for over 30 years. I'm a single working mother. The risk that we have to take while we are working during this time is very stressful. I change my clothes before I enter my home. I clean and spray everyday. I shower right away. I do everything possible to make sure I don't bring this virus into my home. I want to protect my children my family. But it is still a risk no matter how you look at it. I don't have a choice to get work furlough and make a extra $600 a week like the unemployed. I do feel the government should compensate us essential workers for the high risk we are taking from when the Covid19 started through out next year. Why are they taking care of the unemployed and not the essential workers that are putting themselves in harm's way. It shouldn't be based on hours. The unemployed extra $600 a week isn't based on hours. Give the essential workers a extra $600 a week and retro back to March 2020 when Covid19 started.
I think everyone that works in hospitals dietary, housekeeping, materials department should get a bonus not just nursing staff everyone is playing a part in this

I get it. The “frontline” workers and “first responders” are heroes. But you still have jobs.
My mom is a nurse and she works almost 4 days a week and 12 hrs a day in the rehab center, they get so much sick people from the ER and most of them are to quarantined and infected with covid-19, people are being transfered to rehab from E.R because the capacity in the E.R hospitals are in the max. she has been sneezing and everything and she has been frail because she have to give vaccine to people in the hospital, everyone that works in hospital like nurses, doctors are real heroes and keep risking their life because if they dont work they wouldnt be able to pay their mortgage or bills. And i think they deserve an extra pay, all the unemployed workers getting payed higher than what these frontliners make is such a bullshit (no offense) it’s a shamed because grocery clerks, delivery people and health professionals risk theire life to fight the pandemic and provide people to maintain their health😕🥺😩👌🏽

My boss wanted me to train a new person today, i had asked them if they had gotten them tested for coronavirus and they tried telling me that they couldn’t just tell them to get tested. After I voiced my concerns about my fathers health, my only family member, I asked about receiving hazard pay for the training which I was told that I have my job. I just got fired 2 hours ago.
I was deemed "Essential" I would prefer to stay home and cash unemployment + 600 but i am forced to go to work i don't have a choice.

He said this week they dont have enough money to pay the people they put out of work. People have waited 5 weeks with no checks and all he said was "oh well".
