Strange that he said Trump demanded an investigation because the transcript shows that Trump didn't "demand" anything. A cordial, relaxed phone call that Ukraine Presidents opinion of it matches Trumps, "it was friendly no pressure". FYI Its just been announced that Burisma Oil in Ukraine was in fact money laundering to Hunter Biden to the tune of 17+ million dollars, President Zelensky ran on fighting corruption this is well documented, we have to assume President Trump is concerned about giving money away tax payer millions without checks and balances in place (or balanced NATO support in the region). Point being they did get the money once proper channels were established and concerns were alleviated. This is also documented and remember Zelensky became President late April of this year, inaugurated May 20th 2019 so it makes sense that there was caution from the White House Zelensky was in office less than 2 months at that point, that is a fact that isn't being reported clealry. I've read the July 25th transcript myself, its easy to find as a PDF if you google it, read it yourself, I for one don't see any quid pro quo and knowing that VP Biden's son was on an Oil Company board where he didn't speak the language or have any prior talents or knowledge of that industry to warrant a seat should be investigated. Lt Col Vidman is entitled to his opinion however this can hardly be described as conclusive or fact based evidence, but rather opinion that is not valid interpretation as only those in the conversation can conclusively define what they felt or what the conversation established and its demeanour . Much like art only the artists interpretation is the fact of the arts expression or meaning and the observer is merely an opinion. I think his heart is in the right place and he was pressured to testify but I wonder if he considers what Joe Biden said at the Council of Foreign Relations about NOT releasing the Billion dollars unless the Ukraine prosecutor that was investigating Burisma was fired was Quid pro quo? – LT Col Vindman discredits himself as bias if he says no, that is the question that should have been asked, if he had said yes then I think his opinion on the Trump matter would have held more weight especially being he is an expert on Ukraine. We may never know the answer. End of the day this whole impeachment appears to be hurting the Dems in key battle ground states more than anyone at this point and has really rallied the Republican base and is attracting a lot of independents in support for Trump also. #WalkingAway as a hash tag is something I am seeing almost everyday now. The plot thickens yet again. I predict the Senate will not only vote the impeachment down but exonerate trump of all charges. Then what? The last hail mary for a blue team win will be his tax records? Trump will win 2020 and I think the impeachment will be historically credited as a mistake at this rate. The Dems don't have anyone that can beat him decisively according to recent polls and the Trump economy numbers and consistent progress stats and numbers are hard to argue. Clearly Trump didn't win for his politically correct prowess but for 63 million Americans perhaps that was the whole point.

A retired Army officer who worked with Democrat "star witness" Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman in Grafenwoher, Germany, claims Vindman "really talked up" President Barack Obama and ridiculed America and Americans in front of Russian military officers.
In an eye-opening thread on Twitter last week, retired U.S. Army Lt. Colonel Jim Hickman said that he "verbally reprimanded" Vindman after he heard some of his derisive remarks for himself. "Do not let the uniform fool you," Hickman wrote. "He is a political activist in uniform."
"He was apologetic of American culture, laughed about Americans not being educated or worldly, & really talked up Obama & globalism to the point of (sic) uncomfortable.
He would speak w/the Russian Soldiers & laugh as if at the expense of the US personnel. It was so uncomfortable & unprofessional, one of the GS [civil service]employees came & told me everything above. I walked over & sat w/in earshot of Vindman, & sure enough, all was confirmed.
One comment truly struck me as odd, & it was w/respect to American's falsely thinking they're exceptional, when he said, "He [Obama] is working on that now." And he said it w/a snide 'I know a secret' look on his face. I honestly don't know what it meant, it just sounded like an odd thing to say.
Regardless, after hearing him bash America a few times in front of subordinates, Russians, & GS Employees, as well as, hearing an earful about globalization, Obama's plan, etc., I'd had enough. I tapped him on the shoulder & asked him to step outside. At that point I verbally reprimanded him for his actions, & I'll leave it at that, so as not to be unprofessional myself.
The bottom-line is LTC Vindman was a partisan Democrat at least as far back as [2013]. So much so, junior officers & soldiers felt uncomfortable around him. This is not your professional, field-grade officer, who has the character & integrity to do the right thing. Do not let the uniform fool you…he is a political activist in uniform. As an officer, I questioned whether Lt. Col. Vindman should be involved I testimony against the Commander in Chief. As, I have thought about It, I believe that's what this is all about. We should feel we can have an open dialogue when we don't agree. That's what makes this country t b e best in the world…..
