I think flight attendants do get paid something before the doors close, but not nothing. That said, how can an airline get away with paying nothing if that was the case? It's work. State and Federal labor laws don't say you can pay employees nothing for part of their shifts. It's like a restaurant telling employees we won't pay you until the restaurant opens, even though they're preparing the restaurant for opening.
Imagine paying people for their work. If a flight attendant isn't being paid during boarding does this also mean Delta isn't responsible if they get injured?
Flight attendants are under appreciated. In addition to be hostesses they are responsible for the supervision, safety, and security of a plane load of people.
Best news source, keep up the good work. ho
Ummmm yes pay them. I travel alot. They deal with so much. I can't believe this. Every airline needs to do the same. I can only imagine what how bad it is at spirit
