  1. 1) You are not from Africa. You were born in America.
    2) LET IT GO! IT DIDNT HAPPEN TO YOU PERSONALLY OR ANYBODY YOU KNOW! LET IT GO!

  2. I am demanding reparations for the ancestors I lost in the Civil War. As a Yankee we were fighting to free slaves. As a Republican, my party was initiated for the sole purpose of abolishing slavery. Once again I demand reparations for the pain and suffering my family endured trying to free the slaves.

  3. It's a sad sign of weakness when you cannot admit when something is wrong learn to have empathy for those that have been hurt # scholarships reparations casinos grants many ways to fix and make up for what was done even if it wasn't done by you

  4. Ahhhh, poor, poor babies. We should throw a party for the desolate souls who feel so lost without a slave culture to define them. It should be a federal holiday. I could use another day off.

  5. Never forget the struggle!

Very telling how whites hate to be reminded of the crimes they commit like slavery, Trail of Tears, the holocaust, Japanese internment camps, segregation…

    But they insist:
    9/11 – Never Forget
    Remember the Alamo
    Confederate Flags still fly
    Celebrate the 4th of July.

    Very telling.

  6. Lots of triggered Reich-wingers here. It's absurd how they try to stop people from talking about the dark history of this country by bringing up BS arguments like "you're race baiting" and "Africans owned slaves too".

  7. Yes! Just as nobody expects the Holocaust and its devastating effects to just "go away"…slavery and its devastating effects isn't going away either. This country has to stop trying to sweep it under the rug!

  8. One of the reasons African immigrants to the United States, despise black Americans is their reliance on the narrative of slavery to excuse their failures. Ask any African immigrant, they do not dwell on the issue of slavery, they only dwell on getting ahead for themselves and their families.

  9. The media will never let these horrible things that man has done rest. We will never get past the black and white , and the slavery thing.
I'm not in no way bashing history for no one, that's what history class is for.
I feel for some people who struggle to get past the sorted history of our planet.
Why can't the media just stick to the news and let history for the teachers?
This has been a rant brought to you from the sick and fed up network channel 123abc .

  10. Black people started black slavery.
    White people ended black slavery.
……in America at least, blacks still enslaving blacks in modern day Africa πŸ‘€

…interesting how so many ppl forget basic high school historyπŸ™„

  11. Deuteronomy 28:48
[48]Therefore shalt thou serve thine enemies which the LORD shall send against thee, in hunger, and in thirst, and in nakedness, and in want of all things: and he shall put a yoke of iron upon thy neck, until he have destroyed thee.

  12. What is so special about these slaves ? Always been slaves always will be ,got them today ,slick of hearing about this crowd never stop moaning about it and shoving it down people's throats , in U.K. in same times people were treated worst than they ever were , their own people sold them for profit ,
ALL a load of Bullshit aided and abetted by stupid PC brigade and do gooders πŸ’©πŸ’©πŸ’©πŸ’©πŸ’©

  13. Meanwhile slavery exists across the world, but people still dwell on history. We'll cherry pick the smallest slave trade in history to suit our agenda. Black folks have white ancestors, white families have black ancestors. Let's poke our fingers and pretend we knew what really happened. Stop the divide and conquer, and come together.

  14. Reading these comments and SMH! It really easy to say get over it when your race hasnt been oppressed or dealt with genocide…….but hey everyone is entitled to their opinion and you know what they say about opinions.

  15. This preoccupation with race defies reason. What about those who suffer from human trafficking right now?

  16. I can't wait until 1000 years from now when the descendants again remind us the debilitating impact they received during the enslavement of their very close relatives they held so dearly. May we all be reminded that we were also once single celled organisms and deprived of proper multicultural cells at that time.

  17. Yes, the older gentleman in the thumbnail's great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great grandfather was subjected to slavery. It was THAT recent! Lol. The amount of sheer pain it must have caused this poor man playing his bongos in 2019 is atrocious. (Rolls eyes)

  18. I know that slavery was terrible I have family who was former slaves however, I wouldn't trade anything in the world to be back in Africa in 2019! They have slavery in Libya right now we can talk about the past but what about the slavery that's going on in Africa right now Africans against Africans?
