A lot of these are minimum wage jobs like at restaurants, etc. Not as many jobs for those of us with higher skill, with higher pay, in an industry that we had before the lockdown occurred. That needs to be taken into account…

Their has never been any jobs available here in northern Mn….a bar or gas station mabey, but that's about it.
Part of the reason is self-checkouts and on-line shopping. That alone is taking millions of jobs (while the CEO's and managers get paid big salaries with gigantic bonuses on top of that).
Younger people are helping destroy their own future with the love and convenience of all technology "offers" them. Force businesses to hire people by not giving in to their candy coated ideas ( use of self-checkouts, etc)
