  1. My uncle and 2 friends of mine passed from fetanyl I don't understand why they are adding that stuff in with other drugs when it's killing people

  2. Why show a picture of legal fentanyl which is administered by a trained physician? That's the problem is by showing a pic of the legal stuff, you misrepresent the illegally manufactured fentanyl which is way stronger and deadly! Show a pic of the illegal drug not medical. You hurt legit pain patients otherwise.

  3. " A drug dealer connected with him on Snapchat." Part of the problem is parents denial that their children have a problem and blaming everything but the actualproblem. Their son was a drug abuser. Im sure he was much more than that and I feel for their loss but parents need to face the facts. My son abuses drugs. What can I do to help him

  4. I am so sorry for your loss. I can't even imagine what you are going through right now. I'm praying for y'all. I'm a single mother of 3 beautiful grown women and 9 beautiful grandchildren. Praying that God will bless and keep you both in His Merciful Hands. Amen.

  5. So sorry for your loss!!! Please trust in the Lord with all your heart and soul!!! He is the true comforter believe me please!!! I will keep you , your husband and other son in my prayers!!! God help you!!!🙏🙏

  6. “…he wanted me to discuss a summer internship, when I got to his room he was dead.” I doubt the timeline fit so tidy. Straight A students who have involved parents
Likely relationship expert set a higher bar of outward appearances & totally absorbed in the couples appearances on TV than personal parental relationship/involvement…no mention on how his brothers are doing; so sad.

  7. This just happened to my friends daughter. One pill & she died…it was supposed to be Xanax but it was lethal fentanyl. This was December 19 2020. She was 19.

  8. Why are teenagers looking for Xanax? I've heard it's one of the prescription medications that teens like to steal. But why?
It's supposed to "calm" people with anxiety. Doesn't sound like something a person looking to get high would want.

  9. I know it's awful to lose a child. And facing reality as to why is even harder. Her son overdosed on a drug he went looking for. Know one on snap chat tracked him down and lured him. And xanax is not the drug of a 16 yo. He went looking for fentanyl. When the opiod crisis captured media attention I saw the faces of White mothers and fathers claiming their child died because a bad doctor that over prescribed. Not one went looking for a high. I'm not taking the bait of another sad mother that refuses to face the reality that she missed the signs. I'm not listening to another mother that will likely find themselves in front of congress asking for a law in their child's name. Blaming everyone but her own child.

  10. Snapchat are not the parents, YOU ARE the parents of a minor child and YOU ARE responsible for their internet access monitoring.

Stop blaming others because you delegated parenting and the monitoring of your kid’s behavior to a company with no obligation to do so.

  11. Pharmaceuticals took their capitalism vision too far….the dealer is part of the problem. The company that manufactures the drug is the real threat.

  12. There’s no excuse for parent who don’t know their kids well enough to know when they’re doing drugs, in their parents home mind you. Quit picking on the supply end. Work on that ‘demand’ part of the equation.

  13. Feel like there's a lot more to this story . Like was he ever prescribed Xanax before , did his doctor suggest it and his Mom say no ? I've never heard of Xanax laced before ever ? You can find out what the legit bars look like on the internet come on A student do your homework . Just blame Snapchat and cross your fingers it was a anonymous drug dealer he didn't personally know .

  14. I can understand where she coming from by saying bored . There are quite a few well to do children and young adults who started doing drugs out of boredom. They little pop pills because they “ooh this pill is pretty shade of pink, I wonder will get me high”. I’m a healthcare professional who has literally talk to teenagers and young adults who literally stated they where bored and that why they started taking drugs.

  15. See? Parents! Wake-up! Talk to your kids about the dangers of opioids! Your kid had to find out the hard way! WAKE – UP !!! The child is dead becuz the parents weren't putting attention on the drug trends of today.

  16. So your blaming Snapchat for not doing enough yet as the PARENT you don't know what your 16 year old kid is buying online or from someone on Snapchat?????? I'm sorry for your loss….but it's YOUR responsibility to know what your kids are buying!!! And HOW did he buy it anyways???? Sounds like they dropped the ball as parents!!

  17. Bad parents blaming a drug dealer. Ha, sweetheart you loved your job and income more than your son!!.
A lot of parents nowadays seek for their profession status and economy more than the well being of their kids.
    Don’t blame the drug dealer
