I urge people to think about history and take a look at the deadly statistics associated with making abortion illegal in many states.
I know everyone has their own opinion regarding abortion and I do understand those who oppose it and I understand why. Unfortunately, even if abortion is outlawed here in the U.S. in many states, desperate women will still get abortions any way they can, law or no law, safe or unsafe. Also, even if women are forced to go through with an unwanted pregnancy, where are we going to put all those unwanted children? The foster care system will eventually become overwhelmed. What are we going to do then, build orphanages again? That seems like a step backwards to me. We're supposed to be in the 21st century, but it looks like a lot of people in this country want us to revert back to the late 19th and early 20th century.

Before going forward with making abortion illegal in many American states after nearly 50 years of women being in charge of their own reproductive choices, let's take a good, close look at history, shall we?
ABORTION WAS criminalized throughout the U.S. between the late 1800s and 1973. But during that time, millions of women sought and obtained abortions anyway.
Of these, tens upon tens of thousands died from illegal abortions or complications arising from them. One 1932 study estimated that illegal abortions or complications from them were the cause of death for 15,000 women each year. Current, more conservative, estimates of the death toll still stand at between 5,000 and 10,000 deaths per year.
Some of these deaths were the result of the abortions themselves, but many more were from infection and hemorrhaging afterward. Because of the fear of being punished and socially ostracized, many women–and their doctors–kept their real condition a secret.

As Blacks only make up about 13 % of the US population it's clear to see why Liberal Democrats (i.e. Communists) and Racists are protesting any possible shift of abortion laws onto the states. Planned Parenthood was founded by mega-Racists Margarett Sanger (a female member of the ku Klux Klan) called Blacks "Human Weeds" that must be controlled and eliminated. Now the Communists and Racists are out in the open and have exposed themselves.

Wait until her little friends are hustling up money to catch a red-eye on Spirit to head out of state for an abortion.
