  1. Honestly i don't understand the problem. Just as how animals that over consume their prey and or the plants in a region and either move on or their population goes down as the environment normalizes, it's no big difference. While it does differ in scale with the whole planet or at least most of it is at stake, it doesn't change the fact the world will still be the world when we eventually die out on this planet. People worry over the environment changing not for the world's sake but our own, and that distracts us. Look at the Harrappan civilization they flourished in their region for approximately 1000 years and died out simply because everything dried up, what they didn't realize was the region was only verdant thanks to the process of change that started since the days it was marshy and wet to the now desert ocean. We have gotten used to our environment in our small several hundreds of years while environments take longer. Now we're at the cusp of those changes and we selfishly blame ourselves as if we're the problem and consider ourselves capable of changing it. But at what cost? Look at the sahara some environmentalists thought planting stuff would help the people but it ended up causing problems since it introduced foreign plants. Another is those many forest reservations, because we want it to stay pretty we limit the natural destruction due to dry weather and wildfires. So on and so forth. The world is always changing and instead messing with it to suit our needs we need to adapt alongside it. Easier to go with the flow of a river than to swim against it.

  2. Excellent, thanks for showing this amazing piece of brodcasting, and of recent history. Citizens were engaged and informed, the truth was being spoken, action was being taken. The backlash started soon after, and it was thorough.

  3. i was 12 years old in Berkeley California for earth day it was a time but now it has gon to crap to much city crap get out of the city it is crap my home its over 100 miles to a stop light it a real life not city crap

  4. The fact that nothing has changed regarding pollution since 1970 is extremely eye opening. People need to care more. I used to think โ€œIโ€™m just one personโ€ out of billions on this earth so it wouldnโ€™t make a difference wether I threw trash out of my car window or threw recyclable items in the trash instead of into the bin next to it. I was real immature and thought I was invincible. Now that Iโ€™m older, and especially after bringing a child into the world, I see things SO much differently. Everyone can make a change and every one person who decides to do the right thing makes a world of difference. โœŒ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ–ค ๐ŸŒŽ

  5. Technological advances has helped mitigate a lot of these protesters worry s. and will continue to make advances in our life time and years to come. Jet engines now make no noise, are very fuel efficient. And never made a sonic boom but over the water out of sight. Pollution much of it has been eliminated or reduced.

  6. The Bible prophecies global warming and a new earth:

โ€œBut the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.โ€

    2 Peter 3:10-13

-<< 'Crisis not near but no less 'real'>> Authentically 'Real.' Amore thanks a bill for the vid.
