  1. I was a kid who was in school across the bridge watching it happen not knowing how tragic it really was. I sit home and cry every year. Now that im an adult i see how awful this day was

  2. I was in 2nd grade. My teacher turned on the tv and we all watched the 2nd plane hit live on CNN. You could hear the kids in the other rooms screaming. We were so little and confused and scared. I never forgot the sound of those kids screaming through the walls.

  3. It's so fascinating to me, that for me a person born after 9/11 and is from another country that 9/11 is just a devastating PAST that i have to learn in history class. While people who loss their loved one's to 9/11 are still living in the PRESENT of that tragedy

  4. This is one of the most memorable days etched in history? I can remember exactly where I was on this day? I pray all the victims of 9/11 can find peace? 🙏

  5. The CIA knew the hijackers.. They were tracking the saudis for 2 years and they never communicated with the FBI .. Sad .. That all the intelligence missed this crucial part

  6. I was probably six years old at the time. But I’ll never forget seeing this on the news, and how it showed the people jumping from the towers. Also before I existed, my parents used to date there where they took pictures together outside of it. Even now I still find this heartbreaking.😰😭

  7. Please don't take me wrong..all of the lives that were lost on that day..are the same lives that we lose everyday all over the world including innocent Americans dying in the hands of police in America…what makes these 3000 lives any special than any other Life..all innocent people died in all over the world because of American foreign policy and intervention..why is that we don't remember or have a anniversary every year for those lives.. I'm sure everyone that dies in the world by choices America makes and America in the hands of police..have a story to tell about those individuals..anyone can you please make me understand.. please 🙏🏼 what make 9/11 special??

  8. My message to The Children of 9/11:

I am truly sorry for what you children have been through since The 9/11, but our anger won't help our problems, but our courage, hope, will, compassion and love can. They want their sons and daughters to move on until it's our time of passing. They wanted to us to be proud and marvelous to fight against evil. And remember this: don't let your rage, greed and fear take over you, let your courage, hope, will, compassion and love take over you.

  9. I really want the people on Jan 6th who crash 💥the capital just look and understand what this great country been thru and how hard we fight to keep bad people out now where do you stand? You should be ashamed of yourselves think about what you created with your racist acts when we have people in other countries who are trying to get at us.🇺🇸

  10. Imagine being so poor that there was no way you could have possibly lost a family member on 9/11 on account of no one in your family had the potential to work for the world trade center… and then your family members die anyway and there's no news story honoring them. That's pretty sad for me right?

  11. I'm from a country that's the oldest friend and ally of the US: France.

I remember this day vividly, 20 years later, from across the Atlantic, being mortified in front of the TV.

We will always stand with you, New-York.

  12. I was in Elementary school nd we were able too see NY n the towers smoking . Then had an early dismissal to go hone and see that sense on tv 🙁 so sad and as i get older knowin there was a bomb attack years ago in the same building and nt knowing it will happen again issa scary thought 😪

  13. my dad was flying a plane when the attack happened and he had to do an emergency landing in ohio and my uncle was supposed to be at the world trade center the day of the attack and he was on the subway when the attack happened and no one could find him but he’s now safe and alive

  14. Like one US veteran said the other day, the Afghanistan war was sadly just another money grab by the weapons industry. Eisenhower warned us during his farewell speech back in 1961…

"In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist…"
    – Dwight D. Eisenhower
