  1. Crazy how people think the should live rent free the pandemic affects landlords as well they have bills too so because they are landlords they shouldn’t be paid that’s crazy

  2. Landlords have bills as well. Only difference is, now they have your bills and yours. You can't punish someone for making good life choices and having property to rent out. Hopefully this teaches people to live within their means, and to save.

  3. lol this eviction moratorium is hilarious! I haven't paid rent in 11 months! I'm taking this eviction thing allll the way up to the very last day, then file for chapter 7. Before I leave my apartment, I'm leaving a giant turd floating in the toilet with urine on the floor lol enjoy landlords, thanks for a free year lol

  4. Some tenant are not interested to paying, they take advantage of the government orders. Government may told the tenant to pay the rent if they don't have money they may got help from state. If the tenant doesn't pay the landlord they might got link or punished. This is not right for years to supper the landlord.

  5. Trust me, this was ingeniously engineered by the powers that be..by the ones who control the world. They knew once the virus was created and rolled out, that it would affect everything!! And this is just one aspect of that…Judgement day is coming for those who have ruined peoples lives in all of these happenings!

  6. Someone needs to please inform the media everywhere of 3 things which are constantly misrepresented in "The Pandemic":
    1) Landlords don't, and can't evict tenants. Ever
JUDGES evict tenants, after reviewing a case and hearing all sides fairly.
    2) Landlords DON'T WANT to file, they are forced to by the tenant's own behavior. Its costly and a ton of work repairing/cleaning up, finding new tenants, and generally awful. The only people they file on are the worst tenants who are consistently and/or completely disregarding the agreed lease.
    3) If there is no way to end a lease agreement that isn't working, aka "No More Evictions"….nobody will offer apartments. The system won't work.
Would you elect a politician who could never be removed, no matter what crimes they committed?
What if gas stations, restaurants, hospitals, plumbers, electricians, surgeons, airline pilots could never be removed, even if they wrecked, poisoned, broke, killed or never did their job? How bad would things be then. Sheesh

  7. My landlord sold my building in Nov. and the new landlord doesnt want anyone in the building who is currently here. I have to move out by 3 31 and because of the moritorium I cant find a place to rent. Id like to ask the people who arent paying rent what did you do with your 600 a week unemployment you got last year. The jobs you refused to take kept me going. I make 8 an hour and work 3 jobs.

  8. Wait…. did I hear this right she decided to cut her own hours at the postal service 🤔 due to COVID19, why not put on a mask social distance and keep it moving, why not go back to work full time ? However he stated she said she made some bad decisions and forsure #1 was cutting back on her own hours. This could have been avoided. There are so many people who have NO control over their hours being cut or laid off now here we have a postal service worker cutting her own hours and getting evicted 🤔. We have to stop blaming people for our bad decisions.

  9. This situation as a whole is not only unfortunate, but it’s a stain on America. With that being said, I don’t think the first lady was the best choice to represent those affected. She chose to cut her hours, and even missed her court date. It seems she had more opportunity to save her home than most others.

  10. Before we really knew much about COVID, many were scared. People were dying. We didn’t yet have a lot of info and maybe that’s why she was afraid to go to work and made that decision. People are still dying but we know more about the disease now. I personally know a handful of people who got COVID and experienced no problems at all and went on with their lives. But when all this 1st started, no one really knew much. People made decisions out of fear. I hate this is happening to people. But a lot of these walls are crumbling. Things will have to change. It’s forcing change. The whole system and society is just horrible.
