  1. But wait a minute !!! 😧 I couldn’t afford that house at that high price ! I give that house $60,000 for it’s size and NOTHING MORE . 🤷‍♂️It’s not even 2 stories 🏡

  2. This doesn't show a shred of evidence of racism especially when she got a second appraisal. If the first would've changed his mind when the black pictures and art was taken down, then I could've understood it. The first appraisal person could've just been cheap and ignorant. If everything is racist, soon nothing will be racist. There would've been even a different amount if she had used a third appraisal person, whether fair or unfair.

  3. Lol..in the world I live in her race would give higher dollar value. How dare this video suggest the total opposite of reality. Madea has a shot at better housing and that's not even a real person lol

  4. “Blessings” looool that’s what these racists do. They’ll tell you they are Christians yet support Trump etc. Bastards lol

  5. No I am with her on this one. I don’t usually conform to these types of stories but this one is spot on. She went through a racist situation. Pure discrimination. I felt that

  6. All The more reason why People of Color need to band together. We need more black real estate appraisers

  7. ABC, why the untrue opinion piece in the guise of a news story? There is no evidence that property appraisals are racially biased. None! Discrepancies between appraisals happen all the time to white people. The smart thing to do is to simply get another appraisal if an appraiser low-balls the property.

  8. I'm Black Puertorican 61, and Yes America reminds me every so often that I'm a man of color in my country. It's exhausting. Not surprised by this story at all.

  9. This practice is so normal, so acceptable and so American; NONE of these RACISTS will face consequences. That's why anyone who denies racism exists against black people are racist to me. When you can't identify racism it's because racist practices are normal and acceptable to you.

  10. Sorry-as an appraiser in the Sf Bay Area. this is very very likely just about playing into black paranoia-the low appraisal can be due to many things-first off -understand this-$500,000 off sounds like a lot-it is in every part of the country but the crazy SF Bay Area-I am a life long resident -second the type of appraisal (low detail type)done that got the lower number combined with the quality of the appraiser can easily account for the lower number-the house condition at the time of appraisal could have helped this-as well as the appearance tweaking that occurred before the second appraisal after the low number caused a problem-not an insult to the owners-we are way preoccupied and busy to be proactive on everything-third the second appraiser could have been better paid and hoed to do a more detailed form-in conclusion-this is not 1950 and a 500,000 swing may cause a red flag but believe me the pricing structure in the Sf Bay Area is so crazy that with all the above it is possible

  11. So horrible. And the sad thing is those things that happen really effect people’s lives and there’s no way to really prove it and show people it really happens so a lot of Caucasian people don’t believe it. Discrimination effects your life in so many subtle and awful ways. It’s so much more than just being called slurs. 😢

  12. Appraisals aren't written in stone. 3 Appraisals would come back differently. I think they Appraised mine too high. I think it's mostly based on the loan. Took a while to get one that was accepted. Shady business.
