You own your kids and their efforts or lack of effort. You own the responsibility of teaching them. They are an 18yr project, or better yet, investment. Make the rules and make them follow abide and adhere to your orders. When they are 18, they can do what ever they want to do. If you've done right by them, they will want to do right. You are still their parent when they're 18 but now they own their efforts. Nothing wrong with learning from them or anyone for that matter. Don't ever confuse that with you not being the responsible person and final decision maker.

What a surprise. Another story about a multi-millionaire discussing his hopes and dreams. Does mainstream media actually think the typical working person cares about things like this? What about that senior citizen that is surviving on less than $1100 a month? I shan't name names but there are millions of us in this country. Yes I watched Dwyane Wade play basketball and he was good but why not give him a piece of humble pie to eat or maybe encourage him to support a homeless shelter for a whole year? Better yet, go back a few decades to where reporters actually went out onto the street and interviewed ordinary people.
