  1. I taught my daughter to call 911. She was 2 and I had epilepsy at the time. She is 45 today. I had her learn our address. To help her not be scared of the dispatcher, I phoned them and explained what I was trying to do. They talked to my daughter and then we hung up and then we had her call back and answer the questions. They said she did good. She knew the address and everything. So when the time came, she was not scared.

  2. It’s amazing how much empty words American news have. This story could have been been reported in 2 mins, but instead it’s repeated at least twice before the core of the story actually gets told. That always amazed me about American news, it’s like reporting to 7 year olds.

  3. When we lived in Colorado. I taught my daughter about 911. My mom was a diabetic and had moments when her sugars were too high. My daughter knew the important answers. One day she had to use those valuable skills but not for grandma but for me her mommy. I was overly pregnant with my son and fell in front of the door. I was so round that it was impossible to roll over or move away from the dooraway. When she called 911 she asked for Uncle Timmy. Uncle Timmy was a volunteer fireman and had driven the fire truck to our home before. Her quick thinking saved both me and her soon to be born baby brother. Later when he moved to Green Mountain Falls. The fire department was within a block of our temporary home. I walked her over to introduce her to the firemen and give vital information about Grandma and did a practice run on how to handle the phone call to 911. I am super proud of my daughter 28 years later as she takes care of me lovingly.

  5. It is always important to teach your child(ren)how to dial 911 when there is an emergency. The age where they are able to speak full sentences know their numbers colors and letters…and its important to teach kids CPR and first aid…never too young

  6. is she on dialysis? She has a Dialysis catheter. I'm on dialysis too. The blood pressure can really turn down very fast after the dialysis. I had it two times.. you passed out very quickly.
