Health Experts Warn Against Holiday Travel Amid Surge In Covid Cases | NBC Nightly News
Yea flying is definitely a problem, why do you think there’s been such a huge outbreak in flight attendants getting covid? Oh wait, that hasn’t happened, and there is no evidence that covid easily spreads on airplanes
Just like all filters you can buy N95s online. No mystery last five decades that they actually filter aerosolized viral particles. Ironically, but unsurprisingly. OSHA-NIOSH-CDC do not consider cloth face coverings actual PPE for workers but, they still recommend them for the public. It's a double standard. N95s are readily available to the public online. No agency is blocking their sale online. They are made by the multi-millions everyday and so there is a supply for all. They work in part through an electrostatic charge. Medical personnel wear a slightly different type which are fluid resistant, which, the public would not really need so those are a different supply chain. You may have heard of fit testing for N95s but the fact is that they are one size fits all so what you get is what you get. You can buy a dozen different types and buy the smoke tubes for qualitative fit testing but, more or less, they are what they are, one size fits all. If you want even more protection, get a half mask elastomeric respirator in the right size, with P100 filters (HEPA) 99.9% to 0.3 um filter efficiency. Peace and be safe. My recommendations are to wear a half mask with P100 into public buildings and a N95 at all other times.
