The best way to solve any problem is to first identity the root cause of that problem. What you’ll find is that the root cause is the same for all of the problems that every citizen is suffering from. That root cause is the fact that America is a Republic instead of a Democracy. Changing our system of government so that it’s bound by the definition of a Democracy instead of a Republic will illuminate the root cause of all of our problems whatever they may be. For example poverty and the fact that our U.S. Constitution has nothing in it to help permanently solve our poverty problem. In America if you can’t pay for it you get condemned to death, denied even a single drop of water, a single crumb of food or a single square foot of living space. This is the reason why our poverty problem persist. This gives the homeless only two choices, die or commit a crime to gain access to water, food and shelter, the three things that no one can live without. Minimum amounts of water, food and shelter should be freely given and no one should ever have these minimum amounts taken away or diminished for any reason. This isn’t just about creating a more humane system of government but also about lowering the crime rate and, allowing people to spend their money on their other needs like basic medical care without the worry of being condemned to death. What good are the elected and the ones they appoint if they need us to point out the obvious, come up with the solutions and force them to do what they should be doing all on their own? We need a new system of government, one that’s bound by the definition of a Democracy instead of the definition of a Republic so we can do what they aren’t willing or capable of doing all on their own!
