  2. So, now the truth comes out. The father "helped" his son by sponsoring him on the application to purchase guns just 3 months-3 MONTHS- after that boy threatened to kill everyone in the house. And less than 3 yrs ago he tried to commit suicide. For his uncle and now his dad to say there were no warning signs that something like this would happen? Parents never want to admit to themselves that their "child" is disturbed or EVIL. That boy was full of rage. And that rage and indifference to other ppl's lives is why he went out and shot almost 40 ppl. He would have killed more, but when he saw the cops starting to arrive, he threw down his gun and ran like a coward.

    Now, an 8 yr old child that was shot will never walk again bcz his spinal cord was severed and a 2 yr old baby will never see his mommy and daddy again bcz they were shot too. But he couldn't care less the lives he has forever altered.

    I didn't know that a parent could "sponsor" a child to make sure the application goes thru. He must have needed it bcz he had the suicide and death threat and cops were called. This is one time the background check may have kept a mass shooting from happening. That infuriates me. Why is someone allowed to sign for kids to buy guns? That loophole was designed by the NRA and republicans to be sure that no one is denied to buy a gun. And why in god's name would a kid need 5 guns?

  6. It's amazing how far the gun nuts will go these days to justify just about anything. Arguing on a site about a mass murder sniper, that MORE guns would have stopped this. That if everybody in the crowd had a gun this wouldn't have happened. So if the kids had been armed they could have shot it out with the sniper.

    Any arguments so that you can ensure that you can get guns to satisfy your inferiority complexes about needing to prove how manly you are, and how strong you are handling your fears, at least with a gun within reach.

They interviewed a former student who knew this guy and she said he was distant, and always drawing pictures of guns. And that no one was surprised when they heard about it.

If this maniac was not prescribed psych meds or not adjudicated a mental defective, nor had a criminal history, the LEO's had nothing to preclude the application for FOIA. Dad co-signed it, absolutely. LEO's , absent the above, would presume the Dad knows more of what is going on than they could know. No incidents since the knife thing, so FOIA card was approved. THE BLAME RESTS on the shoulders of the WannaBeCopyCatKillerRapper who PLANNED this diabolical action. He is going to get what is coming to him in prison.
