There were some recent postings about what CDC means by "PIC" i.e. Pneumonia, Influenza, Covid. CDC data does a few combinations and permutations with these three causes of deaths. Of note: it appears that C-19 cured the ordinary Influenza since there are very few deaths attributed to ordinary flu. I also think the data suggests that pneumonia and C-19 have been conflated. Deaths due strictly to C-19, i.e. w/o P or I complications, are difficult to separate but IMHO C-19 alone might be as little as a quarter of the "ALL C-19" deaths.
