That to me is a proven form of exploitation. When property is a motive between family members. The property of the elderly is their savings, assets, ss income, pension, mobile property, you can move it. Its worse when an institutions (the court appoints a case manager) takes guardianship because no family members are willing for that elderly. They end up in Potter's Field or cremated, and there is no moving truck behind them with their possessions, it was all distributed to other parties through the guardianship as subtractions from the income and benefits the elder person owns, that encourage others to not work for their own living! Services, nurses, aides doctors included should go to the home as needed for in home care and the home of elders should be exempt of taxation and mortgage would abolish conservatorships exempt in extreme cases of mental incapacities.
