Probably many people like myself that could not fly due to the virus and restrictions may never fly again ,
Many people have not received an instant refund for not been able to travel. Which is illegal to pay for a product or service and be able to receive it. I kind of like the overland idea ,self propelled green travel thing , I may travel across Europe on my bike, and Wight a book about the experience .many people like myself are very angered with airlines. They look after their share holders , but have no money in reserve for times of crises like a pandemic to pay customers re funds due for not providing a service.

Thank you for sharing this story. I was flying during September 11. And yes back then our aircraft were very empty at that time. We had recovered flying with a lot more passengers by that Christmas of 2001. But with this current situation it is sad.
