They are 0 for 4 in every election since 2000 (except 2012 when the incumbent – who they had opposed in the 2008 primary – won after they labeled him a "radical" "Marxist" and "too far left". Obama made phone calls to consolidate support around the moderate (Biden) and sold out the progressive voters who got him elected.
