1. One more thing- like I said I really liked how the story moved around to keep interest because it was SSSOOOOO long- but when the writers tried to make him defending the rights of his lesbian cousin? When in real life he adamantly refused a donor liver because he was afraid the donor was gay… no denying he was a GREAT singer and overall great representative of Mexican culture and Latin music
   But it’s a hypocritical screenplay- make no mistake!

Great interview ! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 and Jaime Camil is a very good and one of the finest actors ; without a doubt this could be one of his best histrionic performances and take him to the top as one of the best and most disciplined contemporary actors . Vicente Fernandez is an Iconic international figure in the Vernacular Mariachi music🎤🎶🎼 and a well known not only in HispanoAmerican countries but also in several countries as far away and non Hispanic speaking as in my own country I love Mexican Mariachi music ,and to be able to sing this genre of beautiful music and to that extraordinary tenor level with a voice like the One and Only Vicente Fernandez had , not everyone can do it . Excellent job Jaime Camil 😍❤️🤍💚

4. Finished the series- long but very good. Liked how they jumped around between years to keep it moving- lots of the drama is totally fiction( would have been better to include reality of oldest son being kidnapped and held for 4 months and Vicente refusing to go to police and paying $3 million to get him released after kidnappers amputated 2 of his fingers)(kidnappers finally caught and doing 50 years)
   Plus fact he refused to have liver transplant because he was worried it might come from a gay person or drug addict!
   But real life great voice and actor Camil has great voice too
   younger Vicente’s were excellent also!
