I can't believe the United States is not throwing all of the people that stormed the White house that day. 10,000 to 20,000 people should go to prison for 45 years not just Trump. One argument I keep hearing some say the committee superfluous and that this work should be left to the police the FBI and the DOJ.
Ok fine. But let’s take any other major business or organization in the US, Disney for example…. Imagine Disneyland was attacked invaded and vandalized by a large and violent mob. Would we expect the Disney Corporation to let the authorities to do their thing and leave it at that? Or would we expect them to conduct their own internal investigation?
Of course the answer is the latter. So what is this committee if not the House conducting their own internal investigation? Which because the government is for and by the people is being conducted publicly.
I do seriously wonder if those opposed to the committee have stop to think of their efforts in this light.
