The way he squinted and tilted his head while saying that she was probably afraid that someone would take him away from her, suggests that he's building himself up and pushing a false narrative in my opinion. He also had a slight upwards lip tilt, a micro expression, while he's saying this which is another telling sign that he is building himself up. I have only ever seen overly confident and aggressive people do that exact gesture.
    Another thing I noticed while he was talking about how he restrained/subdued her when she tried to hit him, he does this small open mouth, almost smile, and he raises his eyebrows. These are very odd facial expressions for someone who's telling the truth. Usually when telling the truth, I feel that people usually have a straight face and try not to make too many facial expressions since they are too focused on telling the true story without missing any details. Someone who is lying usually over expresses themselves through their face.

50. I worked with a marine guy that was a beast and me being a male, found him to be a nasty guy and very deviant. We would ride together to work and he would play nasty sexual content on the sound system of the car that made me feel sorry about his wife and Lorena case made me very concerned about what he was doing to his wife. I wounder what goes on in the military environment that drove him to that extreme. I know I cannot generalize but made me wonder.
