Its crazy how the defense attorney thought he was swaying the jury’s vote by throwing constant childish digs at the prosecution “the video you saw probably 5 times in the prosecutions opening” or “I don’t trust power point”… it’s like he was more worried about getting the last word then trying to convince the jury no crime was committed which was a ridiculous feat from the beginning

👩💻about 20 years ago I found myself at Fort Sumpter asking to have a flag identified that I have never seen before. The young lady behind the counter said, "That is the Confederate Flag. Why don't you go home Yankee." The retort shocked me, why was she calling me a Yankee? I can not wrap my mind around the social thinking that this young woman displayed and how alive and well the results of everyone being free and equal before the law is not nutured by a segment of the United States population to this very day; 160 years after the fact. Me, being a white woman, told to "Go home Yankee" because I failed to recognize a banner of a long lost cause still reverberates in my wounded mind and soul, then I look at Mr. Arbery and I try to feel what he was feeling; and it saddens me that such attitudes continue to fester. All the defense did with officer duggins was a recap. Their questioning was pointless, they literally made no points of defense 🤷🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️
I don’t know what’s so unusual about looking at new construction going up. When we were getting our home built I enjoyed going into the other unfinished homes and just look around.

I find ABC to have the most ignorant commentators that don't even try to stick to the facts. The prosecutor herself conceded he was not "out for a jog". The prosecutor in her closing argument played the Night Hawk video of Ahmad illegally trespassing in the same home in the middle of the night. She made a point of making it clear that that was Ahmad and pointed out his Nike "jogging" shoes. She went on to ask the jury to notice he was not carrying anything or concealing any stolen items. But Ga law states that evidence of theft is not required, if you are trespassing in someones home, you are charged with burglary even if you just are browsing for items to steal.
The day of the shooting, the "jogger" was recorded on the neighbors security camera, walking not jogging on the street towards the home and when he got in front of the garage, he stopped and looked around, then bolted (ran) full speed into the open garage. He was seen by this neighbor and she yelled at him when he exited the front door. This is when the defendant McMichaels was driving by and saw the "jogger" exiting the home. A felony crime was witnessed by two people and the gave the defendants probable cause to pursue and make a citizens arrest.
I understand why the guys are found guilty, but ahmaud wasn't an angel either. I don't know what someone would do trespassing on property. It's safe to assume they are up to no good. It's not his place/property. With that being said, tracking him down when no crime sad witnessed was kind of ridiculous… Should have just called the police

I am not in America, and am not American but i have followed this case, and this verdict fills my eyes with tears.My question is why? why?? why??? this man and his son decided to chase and kill an innocent boy; why? why?.why cant we see other people as human like us; especially the innocent people who aren't threat to us; Both you; the evil father, the son and your cohort will rot in jail; you guys are 'The Rats' now, and the blood of this innocent boy will ever torment you till the rest of your lives..And those of you who have tried to cover it up, calamity shall befall all of you
This reminds me of an ant bed. When something foreign comes in with no reason to be there, the ants attack it. So yes, in a sense he was "under attack." But why does NO ONE that I have heard establish WHAT HE WAS DOING THERE IN THE FIRST PLACE. Where is his home? How far away does he live? Why is he on foot? Is he jogging?? Where does he work? All questions that need to be answered. And another question: What was he doing just walking around in someone else's property and why does she not explain that?

Omg! I’m a long distance runner and it’s very different” passing by something and looking” than going onto a house that’s being built. There are many people who steal expensive materials and or destroy things. My Husband is a builder and it’s happened to him hundreds of times over the last 38 Years. People need to use their brains. It’s against the law to go into a house that doesn’t belong to you. With that being said my Husband wouldn’t chase someone down with a gun and kill them over materials.
The courts need to up their game regarding digital evidence and technology in general. There is no technical reason why legal professionals can't walk freely while their voice is recorded and amplified, nor why audio and video cannot be heard and seen clearly by everyone in the room. Many teenagers have better setups in their bedrooms.
