   Interpreting the law in any other way puts the advantage on the criminal action of attacking someone who is simply standing their ground or in-flight and only forced to take an aggressive posture because of the aggressive criminal action

12. I would have loved to closely follow this case…..To bad this case was going on the same time as Rittenhouse. I followed that one pretty close and started with a predisposed notion of guilty based on the facts that the "news" presented. Once I saw the ACTUAL facts I presented in the case I 100% agreed with the verdict. Such an awakening for me…I am sickened that that sleazeball Trump was right about them.

The pastors have already been in the courtroom, the jury has already seen them, so what does it matter at this point? The family will get by without them in the room.. It sounds like the defense is setting up an appeal for a new trial after there found guilty… verdicts have been overturned for "jury influencing" before..so, give the defense what they want, and eliminate as many appeal excuses as possible! We don't want a new trial! We don't want a guilty verdict overturned, So kick the pastors out..

40. As a life long resident of Glynn County, I have to say this attorney is an embarrassment by many here. My mouth drops everytime he opens his mouth and I feel ashamed for how he is portraying the population here. In response to ABC News' comments, no, that is not how most of us speak… Please know that many stand with the Arbery family and support them in every way. This happened not far from our house and was such a shock to us that something like this happened here. I-95 is very close to this neighborhood and there are lots of homeless living in the woods and under bridges, mostly under the overpasses. Fancy Bluff is a beautiful area, on the marsh with lots of oak trees around. Anyway, I just wanted to show support and say that Gouff is not a representative of most of Glynn County….
