My county has had the policy of not transporting dead people for more than 10 years. If we can't resuscitate at the scene there is no improvement in outcomes by transporting. LA should have had this policy years ago.

With more elderly and pre-existing conditioned people being vaccinated, hopefully the Regeneron and Eli Lilly's antibody drugs can be prescribed to anyone who's tested positive with mild symptoms, and get rapid recovery like Trump, Kudlow, Giuliani, etc. did, instead of only available to people over 65 and with pre-existing conditions. Since the reports said the demand for these antibodies are only 5%-20% of what's available, why not make them available to all?

shout out to all my healthcare workers.. every shift in the ER is like going to WAR at this point. We are way past hazard pay.. Every ER is at capacity. We are working more shifts then we would like because are fellow coworkers are out with covid and we are sometimes having to take care of them in the ER. Never seen anything like this before, people are being floated to the ER and ICU from other departments to help out.. most surgeries that are not emergency are being cancelled because we have no beds. We are holding patient in the ER for hours on end. there are more code blues in the hospital then ever before. For all you people out there that don't want to wear masks you can come volunteer in any emergency room in los angeles with no mask and see how that works out for you… I dont know what the answer is but we are losing this fight in los angeles in the worst way.
