This story is just horrific. I watched the special, on TV and cried, for this beautiful boy and his mom. 💔
Mrs. Till inspired all the mothers She empowered them. I feel 💔 for Black Americans especially down south the way Whites mistreat them. No one deserve this. God Bless Emmett Till may He rest in a peaceful journey.
I read the book, it was so painful, heartbreaking that I still cry at the mention of his name. Same for little George Stinney.

I can’t believe I’m saying this but may God have no mercy on individuals who lie at the expense of our young kings lives. It angered me that the woman who lied on him waited decades to admit it.
Mammie knew she had to handle business. That’s what a mother does – do you hear me!!! That’s what I would have did for mine. God bless that woman. I know she is gone now but bless that woman.
