Whenever anyone is found guilty of a murder, the courts should allow a member of the victim's family preferably the mother to open fire at point blank at the murderer right between the fu@ken eyes; but in front of the murderers family so that they too will feel exactly what the victim's family is feeling and has felt. In doing so we'll give the victim's family a sense of satisfaction. It only takes one bullet. Why should taxpayers pay to keep a murderer alive. An eye for an eye. Just shoot them and get it over with. Not only will you be saving gazillions upon gazillions of dollars that could be used elsewhere, but should be cleaning up the jails at the same time. And maybe?, Just maybe?, Criminals will think 100 times before they try to take out someone for they too will be murdered.

To those saying he should've gotten the death penalty, Shanann's family specifically asked the judge and DA to not seek the death penalty since they don't believe that anyone has the right to take the life of another person. It would've been a real slap in the face for the judge to go against the wishes of a family that has already been through so much
