Memphis has a white population of – 99% (yes negative 99%). Whole city been black since, at the very latest, the early 80s…..so please explain to me the full set of circumstances that led to everyone in this clip being white😕😕😕?? Look up "white flight" anywhere on the internet and Memphis/Shelby County is mentioned front and center as the classic example, so…………. Da fuk?
I was born and raised in the dump that is Memphis Tennessee (praise God I escaped) and it never ceases to amaze me how national media can track down and gather enough white people to fill empty space in a camera shot in a city that's 99.99999% black due to white flight so severe and dating back so far that a black kid could live in the city their entire life and NEVER see a single white person (and vice versa)….That is, unless they're arrested by one of the many white cops who police Memphis but never grow up or live there – cuz they come from the still-segregated areas of the surrounding counties.
