The backyard birding industry in the US and Brittan are very aware of how to make backyard birding a much more sanitary hobby for backyard birds and backyard birders, but they are resistant to change because it will damage their bottom lines, financially. Backyard birding is a 4 to 5 billion dollar a year industry in the US alone, so they don't want to rock that boat.
