  1. Then DON'T give them free tuition, room and board, and everything else Colleges and Universities grant them. They are already paid a Huge amount to play a game and wear a jersey.

  2. Communist China: The Republic of China is called the Old Society, Escape is called Long March, Rebellion is called Revolution, Treason is called Chinese Foreign Aid, Collapse is called Liberation, Robbery is called Communism, Dictatorship is called Chinese Characteristics, Judicial Independence is called The Plot Against China, Forced Abortions is called Family Planning, Communist Party's Wealth is called State-owned Assets, Bribery is called United Front, Corruption is called the National Trend, Unemployment is called Lay-off, Brainwashing is called Education, Heavy-handed Suppression is called Safeguard National Security, Protests / Demonstrations are called Inciting Subversion of State Power, Cults are called Marxism Leninism / Maoism, Terrorist Organizations are the Communist Parties.

  3. Greedy colleges should have been doing this already. What a backwards society we live in where businesses can profit by providing people with an education, a public good. Anyone who meets the necessary requirements should receive that service for free, and then contribute to their community and the overall economy. The longer colleges are allowed to do this, the more our economic growth stagnates.

  4. Good. Took long enough. Every other student on campus, whether in scholarship or not, can earn money so should the “student athlete”.

  5. Weird. It’s almost like there should be an entirely separate league, in which people can play for money all they’d like. Something like a “professional” league…
