New Legislation Could Marginalize Transgender Community
I recently became transgender. I was a man but now I've transformed myself into a beautiful woman. I've grown a vagina overnight when I made my choice to become a girl, it was like magic. I'm an avid reader of Buzzfeed, and read an article titled "10 Reasons You Might Be Transgender" and I was immediately convinced that I am trans. So empowering, and now I plan to have children with my new body! Human biology is amazing! We can be anything we want!

why does he get to be happy and i have to suffer? why does everyone in the world get to have joy when there is a small group of people like me that have constant depression not linked to anything. you cannot be depressed because you cannot get something. that is not real depression. that is sadness. real depression happens without a reason, real depression effects people with a depressive disorder. i am constantly depressed. it never goes away. if i smile or laugh it is a fake smile and a fake laugh. i do it to fit in with the crowd. i do it to put on the show that i am happy but the feeling is not there. my feelings are all ripped away from me like alexithymia but i only feel depression. i show facial expression and most of the time it is the wrong expression. my doctors always write that i have inappropriate expressions. i dont know? what am i supposed to do. i do not think its alexithymia though, i think it is autism. but i cannot get a diagnosis of autism since i already have a diagnosis of schizoaffective?

Experimental medicine on kids is wrong. They can't even buy cigarettes or vote until they're adults. Change gender as a minor? No. Puberty is natural.

If my child's body didn't match what their trans brain is wired to see and they suffered from depression and anxiety, I'd do anything to help my child feel complete and mentally fit. Since puberty blockers and hormone treatments aren't deadly, this care should be left up to the trans child and parent(s)or guardian(s).
I have a cousin who's trans and he struggled with his identity. I remember that he was trying to overdose himself because he was dealing with depression and other issues. I was surprised that he was trying to do this and kept blaming myself for not watching him like I should have. If these restrictive bills pass, there will be more stories like my cousin's case that will continue to repeat. I really don't want to see more of this just because polliticans or other "people" think that being trans is a choice or wrong.
