1. So let get this straight, kids can sit in front of a video game for hours no problem, but you put education on a computer and then everything falls apart! It didn’t say don’t go nowhere, it just said don’t stand so close and don’t be having the time of your life because you might get sick! Smh! Peace or maybe not!

3. Yes. There is a factor. The Teacher's Union needs to be defunded and criminal charges filed. They did not follow CDC guidelines that said it was safe for children to return to school.

4. The germs in my classroom are awful, even in a non-covid school year. I am nervous to go back. Funding is always promised, but rarely delivered. I don't want to to be in a classroom without the proper PPE and ventilation systems. Vaccinations need to be given to the teachers prior to return. If the Union won't fight for me, I guess I will have to fight for myself, and my own family. I won't be returning to the classroom unless all of these health standards are provided, not promised! I am sure many colleagues will follow. Substitute teachers: like my post if you want to teach in a germ infested classroom. Comment if it is the last place you would work.

5. The schools have been CLOSED due to the virus. And I know if they open the school they can't guarantee the safety of our children. I would like to see that the schools give parents the choice to send their children to school or distance learning.

6. People were committing suicide before covid made us isolate. Some depressed people get by with friends to talk to, some schools and workplaces have counselors to talk to. Sometimes people seem fine, then out of the blue they commit suicide. Over the years we've had two suicides in our direct family, two in extended family. They were all for different reasons, but no one realized the problems at the time. With a year of covid, it has been known for awhile depression has become a problem. If there had been better planning for handling the pandemic the last year, maybe ways to handle people's mental health could have been planned for also.

They listen to your phone on or off for years back.

10. The teachers unions will NEVER let schools open up again. They demand higher pay and less work. Zoom classroom has been a godsend for lazy teachers.

23. Instead of looking for the student/virtual teacher ratio of suicide, try looking at the student/bad parents ratio of suicide.

    people complain of "isolation" but technology brings opportunities to talk or video chat, and you can still go outside to meet with people, so most people are not truly "isolated".
    needing others to be around you all the time seems like a problem to me.

The poor fitting, ad hoc dust masks won't stop the new UK virus strain and it will take several months to vaccinate everyone with a vaccine that might not work, (e.g. resistant SA or Brazil strains), or need booster shots every few months.
