Heat from beneath the surface causes a thick glacier to collapse that sunlight hardly affects, as evidenced by snow on its surface. Despite a claim of global warming mid-latitude cites that formerly knew only a rainy season are now experiencing cold winters with heavy snowfall, something that never happened before.
