She wants to do away with testing to get into NYC's elite schools, the
schools for the academically gifted children. The reason she gave is
that testing has the same "undesirable results." Well, the results
certainly not "undesirable" to Asian students (they score the highest).
The results are not "undesirable" to white students (they score the
second highest). Nor are they "undesirable" to Hispanic students (they
score third). I guess in the opinion of the schools chancellor that
the results must be "undesirable" to some other ethnic or racial group.
I wonder who that group could be. I guess the group is worth throwing
out the system that has served our citizens well for decades. Tests
don't discriminate based on race!!!! Test identify the most
academically advanced students and place them in to most challenging
schools. She wants to "dumb down" these schools because her group
doesn't measure up. What a shame for all of the other students who
have worked hard to get into the best schools. I guess they don't
matter, do they?

I Went To The School Meeting Today, They Did Not Answer None Of The Main Concerns, They Do Not Care, 3 Feet Apart, Testing Blah Blah, One Hour And Half Them Telling You All Positive And All Butterflies, When My Three Kids Where In School We Constantly Have To See The Teacher At Home Because Multiple Kids Testing Positive, More Kids To Sacrifice, Bring It Home To Their Sibling And Parents, They Said To Wear Mask At Home Too, TF! They Even Said If One Sibling Can Be A Contact Of Someone That Was Positive, Even They Have Contact At Home That Sibling That Was Not In The Same Class Continue To Go School.
