  1. The transition to streaming is the real story here. NFL football will now become cult entertainment — fewer viewers paying more to watch games that the rest of America doesn't care about. These deals illustrate how desperate the media is for content it can sell to advertisers, but with fewer viewers and an eroding demographic, NFL football rights have become a real life game of musical chairs for the media. The ratings will continue to decline, and someone is going to get left out.

  3. I would be fine with it if it was just a single platform for all nfl but if they force me to have to sub to like 5 different streaming services just to see the game well, looks like it's a pirates life for me.

  4. The media companies are transitioning the people away from free over the air signals and antenna TVs. Why can't people see this literally?? When cable first came out the big draw was no commercials then within a few years you were paying for a lot of the things that you watched before and with the commercials intact.
