  4. It is Amazing that had the teacher not left That Door Open, the killer would not have had Access to those 19 Plus children not to mention the Resource office leaving his post unprotected. Until we have better Regulations concerning Gun Reform, We need More Responsible Adults Protecting our School Children! The Two afore mentioned Adults need to be fire and or Prosecuted.

Well, the NRA and their supporters think safety is about having the Vietnam War happen in front of your own children's school to keep everyone safe. With their abhorrent vision of reality, school pictures will be taken with your kid's teachers holding an AK47…say cheese! Wake up people!

And they deal with the loss of their own children being killed by a disturbed person armed with an AR15 like the other parents are dealing with right now. Would they gaslight this audience the same way then as they're doing now? I think not. Ask yourself this people, do you have a true democracy if big businesses like the CRA control your politicians…and your vote? Because they ultimately do, what you have is politicians who promise you this and that…you then vote for them, they get elected, and they do their donors bidding regardless of what you originally wanted them to do…your just a vote to give them and their donors power…nothing else. The Republicans are especially unempathetic with shootings vs the Democrats. Because guns pay for their party! But both parties need to reorganize and the government needs to completely abolish big business from being able to give big money to political parties…because it's as corrupt as it gets.

  19. I'm glad we're making this about mental health so that every remotely depressed person could potentially be viewed as a threat. What is the thinking there, exactly? You want to round up every distressed person out there? No, seriously, Mr. Trump, please, tell me why, during your presidency, you didn't push the envelope on mental health reform. And again, what is your plan, specifically?
    I am SEVERELY depressed. Weird how that happens, when I live in a country that makes it this damn easy to commit heinous acts and thus the heinous acts occur on repeat. Cool. Actually, I change my mind; please give me a gun so I can blow my own brains out and escape this nightmare.

  21. With every mass shooting in America the NRA has a major PR problem which just keeps getting worse. The question remains how much pain can America tolerate when so much of it is (a) self-inflicted and (b) preventable. This holiday weekend, while millions enjoy the company of their families, an underlying uneasiness now seems part of our American psyche.

  23. It is exactly a matter of money. These guys are saying governments money should handle it we wont lose our money by abolishing the NRA. The Government saying we should abolish the NRA but meanwhile we won't spend money by better protecting the schools with armed officers. US has special forces tactical agents and stuff put one at every school ready to give their lives to save the children and get rid all your guns and the NRA. This is very very low on your end US. For everyone who says "guns aren't the issue, it's mental health," or "guns don't just get up one day, walk to a school, and fire themselves," I ask you: Would you apply that same reasoning to nuclear weapons? Certainly you don't believe that the world would be SAFER if civilians has access to weapons of mass destruction, do you? Then why do you REFUSE to acknowledge the empirical evidence that PROVES that the prevalence of guns in a society results in more gun violence and deaths? For every 100 people living in America, there are 120 firearms. By comparison, in the next closest country, Yemen (which is currently embroiled in civil war), there are 52 firearms for every 100 people. We are OBJECTIVELY the least safe country in the developed world in terms of the gun homicide metric. So, tell me, why not apply your flawed "guns don't kill people, people kill people" reasoning to other weapons of war as well? I eagerly await THAT answer.
