Rep. John Katko, R-N.Y., said that without U.S. boots on the ground in Afghanistan, the U.S. has no intel and calls the withdrawal “beyond my imagination.”

  1. I predict that despite their assurances, The Taliban will form an alliance with ISIS, Al Queida and other terrorist groups to survive. The Taliban has admitted that they cannot distinguish their fighters from that of ISIS and others terrorist groups, because they are comingled and embedded with the rest of the population, with no distinguishing characteristics. . The same advantages that enabled the Taliban to seize total control of Afghanistan, without a fight, by appearing as if from nowhere, leaves them vulnerable to be defeated, similarly. A dose of their own medicine. They face the same problems as the Afghan Army faced when fighting the Taliban as the insurgents but in this case the roles are reversed.

  2. Terrorism is their "political system." That it is integral to a Religion doesn't make the fear and suffering, mutilation, defilement of women and children or arbitrary homicide by beheading anymore palatable or legitimate. And that is not going to change.

  3. Taliban are responsible for thousands of deaths in Afghanistan but US is responsible for millions of deaths around the globe so Taliban are local terrorist but USA is global terrorist

  4. The U.S Leaving Afghanistan is right politically even though it is wrong on the humanitarian level but knowingly leaving U.S citizens behind is just wrong on all fronts and proves my beautiful America is owned by China now

  5. Statement by the 45th President of the United States….
Never in history has a withdrawal from war been handled so badly or incompetently as the Biden Administration’s withdrawal from Afghanistan. In addition to the obvious, ALL EQUIPMENT should be demanded to be immediately returned to the United States, and that includes every penny of the $85 billion dollars in cost. If it is not handed back, we should either go in with unequivocal Military force and get it, or at least bomb the hell out of it. Nobody ever thought such stupidity, as this feeble-brained withdrawal, was possible! ..

  6. STOP POLITICIZING ALL OF YOU POLITICIANS; WE KNOW YOU ARE C.Y.O.A. LOOK
AT US NOW AND STOP THE DIVISIVENESS. I GUARANTEE ALL AMERICANS WHO VOTE
WILL JUDGE ALL POLITICIANS THE SAME. WE ARE DYING AND YOU RE WORRIED
ABOUT OPTICS! YOU ALL FAILED WITH PETTY BS

  7. We are out of Afghanistan, and we need to worry about what is happening in the United States. American Citizens have known since the Trump administration, that we were pulling out. No other US soldiers will be dying in Afghanistan. It is over and time to move on.

  8. Afghanistan is a lost cause of a country full of doped up community college students. In this world, every version of something must exist. In this case, living primitively

  9. This senator is too dumb. I believe CIA will have local afghan spies on their payroll or have their own CIA operatives still in afghan

  10. It's insane how he pretends that the culture in Afghanistan is in anyway like the culture of Japan, Germany, Korea etc., if the US had stayed they'd be brought back into the civil-war because the taliban already owned everything outside of the cities. Not to mention how fucking corrupt and incompetent the US command has been at choosing- and picking allies, basically creating a corrupt and hated class of politicians that literally not a single Afghan would die defending.

  11. Oyy, Couldn't stand to see our military be in that naive in the last moment of pulling out of near 6,000 troops by the CENCOM authorized by the pentagon… They all should be released and disbanded to enjoy their retirement life.
A 5 page field report says that due to the shortness of time, the CENCOM was be able to disable 73 military planes, as well as disable 70 MRAPs, 27 Humvees. But an also bad thing was disabling the new C-RAM batteries (work better than israeli iron dome because they automatically knocked out 5 incoming missiles on the way to the airport while troops sought covers) and left behind a large ammunitions depot, mortars, heavy machine guns, etc in the airport. Another bonanza for the taliban though pentagon and CENCOM believed that no one can restart to use these weapons. In reality, a $20 Million USD(?) contract with a foreign country to haul all these new trophies home for copycats or understand how the radars work in defense between incoming friends and attacking foes. CENCOM said that it woukd take a longer time in manpower and experts and addition explosives and more moneys to do the tasks which were considered as a time consuming gigantic work to demolish the weapon depots, and the troops were vulnerable on take off while kabul airport in a scene of Hollywood firestorm, and talibans could get excited to shoot down C-17s on the runway with anti tank weapons. Secondly, if troops were forced out to fight, they could hold their defense with the ammunition and weapons leftovers for longer time. The 2 week evacuation costs US near $250 million usd including the refugees settlement.

  12. The Taliban offered us control of Kabul. Instead, Biden agreed to just control the airport to evacuate whoever made it to the gates. Biden then blamed the Afghan forces for not fighting when he created the chaos in Kabul.

  13. John Katko just like most Republicans in United States 🇺🇸 wants more war! Republicans should pay for it if they want more War and not the American people.
