Kinda weird you guys didnt mentioned how he lured the dog with treats or how he felt the need to approach an unleashed dog why didn't you call the cops and how many times have you lured dogs this way you knew what you were doing stop the Bs you even said your mom took you and your sister to protest so knew how to get under someone's skin.

  2. She does sound genuinely distraught. Anyone else wondering if there's more to the confrontation than we're being told? What are the odds that graphic novel is crap? It does sound awfully indulgent and comic books plus modern politics make for a toxic mix as the industry is finding out the hard way.

  10. Thank you Chris Cooper and Aletha and Julian!! I LOVE this story of lemonade from lemons! You are all to be commended for rising up to what was a Low point in our country' s history and taking the high road by writing this graphic novel. I am convinced God works in all kinds of really cool ways and inspires humanity to do great things in dark times. As a result we will see a proliferation if young artists and writers who will learn how to transform ugly into beauty!! This is a unique teaching moment and its all thanks to Karen. Even forgiving her is part of the learning. She like all of us is human and no doubt has her share of negativ experiences in her life. Without knowing it she too has created a poignant learning experience from this and plays her importany role. WOW! I see a speaker series coming from this. All 4 of you should get together and think about a world tour. Chris, Althea, Julian and "Karen" or her real name. Show humanity what it means to EVOLVE into a better version of ourselves! This is BIGGER THAN YOU THINK. Teachers will be using this in a Race Relations class. Mark my words! I'm not in social media but I will look you up. I'd like to meet you all. I want to be around GREATNESS! 🙏❤

  11. My mother was taught bias, but I didn't realize it until well into adulthood. I think that she was conflicted between being a part of her family (her sisters were overt but not often) and not wanting to pass it on. She had that sense that it was wrong.

  13. I’m just so grateful that Christian Cooper and Vauhxx Rush Booker, the man almost lynched during this last “Independence day” of 2020, survived these insane incidents to tell the what happened.
    This is definitely our experience and I’m sick and tired of it. Thank God for phone cameras!

  14. The birdwatcher also tried stealing the white woman's dog… He admitted it on his Facebook. But you never hear about that.. and we really don't know if this lady was racist or not, there is absolutely no proof

It would be healing if Cooper too would do a graphic novel – really examine what was behind this: her motives, her 'learned' response to this man, the sense of entitlement, her fear, her racism, etc. She is not alone, most of us have some messed up responses and all these viral misconceptions and assumptions about life. It would do a lot of us some good to honestly examine what we are doing. Even better if she could conspire Alitha Martinez to work on the novel with her. We all need to heal, to learn, to grow. We need to use the hurt as opportunities of change. Proceeds could go to NPO.
