It's funny because they failed to mention how much time and money The Metals Company has spent with the ISA (international seabed authority) providing research on things no one else will because of it being 4,000 meters down… look into this company yourself. They were previously known as DeepGreen Metals and they changed it for the IPO, I believe a little over a year ago. They've been doing research on the deep sea for years though. They have a great reputation with ISA as well. 300+ land-based mines is the estimated amount to meet demand for electrification. With TMC that number would drop drastically.
