The goverment is causing many who suffer in severe chronic pain sccaring doctors to where thier refusing patients meds or cutting patientts pain meds down so low doesnt manage thier pain.People in the public and veterens have and are commiting suicide no longer to cope with life without medication they need to have any quality of life !!#
    I would have commited suicide myself and had plans to but I found kratom that helps me to live life without severe chronic pain.The FDA and CDC hass also tried to ban kratom.
    leaving many more to suffer in five states it is banned many still suffering in those five states and those who dont know about kratom and how much it will help them..I didnt know about it for 5 months after my DR quit perscribing pain meds my pain level got so high raising my blood presure causing me to have two strokes!! They dont care of the effect opiod crisses has on people in pain who are suffering instead of stopping the street drugs coming into our couuntry to get thier numbers down they attack people living in pain.

In my opinion using opioids for pain relief is so antiquated anyway when they have made leaps and bounds in every aspect of life, we’re talking technology, in the medical field, everything and then they have to hand you a pill that was produced a thousand years ago (exaggerates) to relieve pain! Don’t get me wrong, I appreciate that pill when I need it I’m just thankful my pain is not like some of these people who’s really suffering from severe pain! My point is are they really looking for advancements in pain relief or are they satisfied with the money they receive from the opiates?!

27. STFU about this already!! People with true, real chronic pain are being deprived of a quality life because of the fear mongering! A friend had a csection a month ago and was given a THREE day prescription for vicodin. What’s worse, her pharmacy couldn’t/wouldn’t fill it because they didn’t have “advance notice.” She had to suffer for 2-3 days with only ibuprofen until her pharmacy could fill her piddly prescription of 5mg vicodin. She suffered and is still suffering from kidney problems after being recommended 1,000mg ibuprofen every 4-6 hours!!! The fear mongering has GOT to stop!!! It’s ruining more lives than legally prescribed opioids/opiates are!!! And the abusers and addicts will always get their fix somewhere! It’s normal people who are paying the price!!

34. As a person who has experienced this crisis firsthand I can say that its unfortunate how people who need this medication are treated like criminals. I definitely felt uncomfortable asking doctors for it because I knew I'd get turned away. But when you can't get up to use the bathroom without having help it puts a new perspective on things. So I used what I could find but that cost me years of my life and happiness. Thanks big pharma
