  1. No one knows what to do when there is black on black violence not even at a Live event being watched by millions. This was wrong in so many levels on how unprepared the Oscars was for a moment like this.
    IF WILL IS TRULY SORRY HE NEEDS TO TURN HIMSELF IN TO THE POLICE AND MAKE SOME JAIL TIME. Or he can stay at his nice home with all his money and laugh about all of this.

  5. In 1989 Will Smith was arrested for "vicious assault" after he nearly blinded him, after him & his body guards put a hit on record producer William Hendrix  ,after fracturing his eye orbit he managed to spend only 1 night in jail! ..I guess money does buy everything

  10. What a sad night! Absolutely shocking and I don’t follow much movie stars. Is like the shine Will had he handed it over to Chris and Chris now is like a lightning bug. I mean Chris he handled the entire ugly situation with such and class, totally profesional this saving the rest of the grand night for others to hopefully continue enjoying. I feel sad for Chris ruining his career and reputation in a way but he was laughing at the jokes as well until that no saint arrogant woman who goes chatting around gave him the signal to save her. She’s evil! She will ruin Chris to the ground. Looking like a peacock so arrogant and that neck so high looks like she came out of a car accident. Lol! I’m a nobody but I just can’t believe it! Should have taken his business in private you don’t have a right to ruin the night for Chris and all others with your violence. So truly sad for both and Will shaming with his actions his own people. Thank God Chris took it so professional the guy is the real hero of the night. Chris should get an Oscar’s and all the respect for his behavior. You really Rock Chris! Applause 👏🏻! ✨

  12. People are dying inthe Ukraine….giving up their lives to try to keep their home…..and we here in the USA safe in our home are more worried about Will Smith slapping Chris Rock on tv……does no one else think this is wrong???? Hello???
    We turn on each other in America ….we do not pull together to fight for what needs to be fought for…I understand standing up for those you love , but I say thanks once again for making America that gave you all your opportunities a big joke to the world…..

  16. She literally just said like a week or two before this that she was really loving her new look and shaved head and didn’t care what anyone said about it.

    But it’s very public will and jada have marital issues and she definitely made him do that to prove something. She is awful to him. She created that tension

    Chris definitely had a good comeback ready and he could have done a lot worse but he chose to be a professional and not perpetrate the cultural stereotypes by causing an even bigger fight. I definitely feel like he knew he had to hold his self to a certain standard for the culture.

  19. Everyone can say what was said isn't a big deal. It's sickening how people fall into that Narcissistic trap and dismiss and block out the fact that rock played a part in this situation. His actions also hurt someone He isn't the victim, the real victim is Jada, he never went on a personal attack like that with anyone else there that night, think about it , words and context matter, chris should have never said that, this isnt the first time hes done it to The smiths.

    A child gets teased in school, the bully never being held accountable and the victim getting blamed for the bully being bully never being held accountable for their behavior until the kid getting teased shoots up his school. People's feelings should matter, but reality is we are living in a world that is encourages Narcissistic behavior.

  21. In my opinion: Resigning just allows someone to leave with dignity on their own terms & circumvent corrective actions. I would think that would be very egocentric – like a total boss man.   31. The academy should be sanctioned. The fact they said they do not condone violence yet took this long to even still do anything about it is disgusting. This producer is tipping toeing around this because he doesn't want to get on anyone's bad side. You don't ask a victim if they want to press charges, you protect the victim and take action, by removing the attacker.

    Surely, if Jesus is worshipped due to having no father, Adam is more deserving of worship since he was created without either parent…………………………………………………………………………..

  35. Chris Rock could have pressed charge right away, leading to Will Smith getting arrested by the police in the middle of the ceremony, yet he did not. Will Smith destroyed his reputation and his career on a fit of anger while he could have kept his dignity by simply but firmly asking Chris Rock for an apologize.
