  1. Trevon Jenifer! I almost had a heart attack when I heard your name on TV last night during the gold medal game against Japan.

You don't know me personally, but as soon as I heard your name, I knew where I remember you from. I used to compete in Junior National Wheelchair sports when I was young. I'm from Northeast Pennsylvania. I was on the John Heinz Senators wheelchair sports team. I did track, field, and played table tennis. We would go to regional events in PA, NJ, and MD in the spring- usually 4 every year. We would have to qualify at those events to make it to the Junior National Wheelchair Championships in the summer. I competed from I think 1996- 2000. Made it to nationals in Birmingham, AL, Phoenix, AZ, Albuquerque, NM, San Jose, CA, and Seattle, WA. I think that was the order from 96-2000.

Anyway, I definitely remember hearing your name at those national events when the guy would announce the track races from the press box. It was so awesome to hear your name on TV, figure out where I knew the name from, and then see you guys take the gold! That seriously made my day! I don't know if it was you, but they showed one of the guys cutting down the net, and it gave me such a good feeling! Congratulations dude! I'm so happy for you and everyone involved with Team USA Paralympics- way to represent! We see you!

(I really hope Trevon sees this comment.)
