Chandler did on the USS Louisville CA 28 which my dad was on and Chandler kept a keen eye on his Division. Chandler helped with the fire hoses after the planes hit the Louisville too – died the next day Jan. 7, 1945. Many sailors along with Rear Admiral Theodore E. Chandler buried at sea in the Pacific.
