Actually those who worked in Navy, air force or army it is such a tough and wonderful training of mind, brain and body and they are tamed in such a way that as Veterans they can work in any department like Congress lot better than others as their mind accuracy, decision taking power, judging people, taking work from people, following orders and sharpness of mind help them a lot to flourish everywhere………..so these great marine pilots become great congress leaders………
FYI- Only 1% of all Americans who have ever lived have been in the military. Less than half of 1% of today's population of Americans is currently active in the armed forces.
