Fred grew up during the 1930s era Great Depression so he also got through hardships like we do with COVID which could end up in severe economic dispair as it did years ago.

I live 2 house down from Mr and Mrs Rogers.. I grew up seeing him as a kid I always thought he was my family! We all miss him so much in our neighborhood!
Fred Rogers was my Minister at the Sixth Presby Church in Squirrel Hill, about two blocks down from the Synagogue. I went to Linden Elementary, and lived on Aylesboro Ave. But, I only lived there from 1980-1982.

When do I have the right to hate? Racism, bigotry, and hatred is never justified. We all need to be reintroduced to truth. Proverbs 8:13 tells us that the only time hate is appropriated is for these reasons, " to hate evil! not color. " to hate pride and arrogance! "Last of all, to hate evil and perverted speech. That's the only time its justified. Tell that to gang members. Rappers and drive by shooters! Return to truth.
Mr Roger's was/is a marine. So you can assume he is pro self defense.

Mr Rogers was an example of what we need more of. And it seems that a great many in this area heard the calling because they came forward to give what they could themselves, whether it be blood, time, support, $$ etc. Maybe deep down we ALL have a little bit of what Fred Rogers💙 seemed to have a surplus of, we just have to act on it instead of ignoring it & going about our day. WE CAN DO BETTER… IF WE'D JUST TRY A LITTLE HARDER!! 🌻
