Trash flowed down South Africa’s Umgeni River after heavy rain hit, causing flash flooding and severe blackouts. Plastic waste accumulates often in Durban after this type of weather, locals say.

  1. they should clean that water and sell some of the ocean front property to  private hotels to make resorts : this could be a huge tourist draw  that could produce tons of jobs

  4. I’m visiting Kenya now but I’m from England and was amazed to find out that they don’t recycle in this country so I’m not surprised this is a thing in other parts of Africa.

Everyone feeling bad thinking that it's just America that's causing this kind of thing, I watch the video the other day in India of people literally dumping dump trucks of garbage into a river, one right after the other. And that River leads right to the ocean. Which probably the current takes it down to South Africa.
