there is no such thing as hispanic or latino. hispanic or latino is just a way to say you are white and from spain. if you are indiginous say you are native american. dont say hispanic. hispanic just means white. My parents are Puerto Rican, but I never spoke Latin and Puerto Rico is not in Latium, so I think the labeling of Latin is seriously stupid to begin with. I never felt the need or desire to hyphen my identity, I am an American of Puerto Rican descent, not rocket science.
