1. This is a great start. I wish there was a way that restitution could be made. I also wish that counselors would be available to talk about the trauma and the memories that are coming up. 33. As a Native American 🇺🇸 I am very moved that the pope apologized. My mom was adopted out of Alaska. The red road is still hard. We have no sense of community with our own people. Many of us are scattered. I have rarely ever seen other Native Americans in my entire life. His apology is beautiful and brings me to tears. It’s a start.
